Steve Mahanahan is one of the earliest recurring characters in the T&E universe. He runs Steve Mahanahan's Child Clown Outlet and later Steve Mahanahan's Child Clown Cruise.

He is portrayed by Eric Wareheim.

Background[]

Much like the rest of Awesome Show, Steve Mahanahan is a parody of television(specifically cheap business commercials). He uses comical, over-the-top editing in all of his commercials.

Steve Mahanahan runs the child clown business. Apparently a family business, it is designed around renting out child clowns to customers as entertainment for parties. In addition to selling the clowns, he also provides instructional videos, clown food, and various additional accessories for the clowns to use. While initially just a business man, Steve would later be hinted at in the show to have abusive and/or pedophilic tendencies and would end up losing his business because of it.

Despite almost always advertising for his Child Clown business, he reveals he never wanted to be in the business and was forced to by his father.

Early Start[]

First appearing in TIMANDERIC.COM "The Show", Steve introduces the his hotel located in Reading, PA. The hotel features a pool, arcade and a pay-per-view movie service. Steve then introduces tonight's film Gatorman Attacks.

On Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job![]

On Season 1 of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Steve Mahanahan is the owner of Steve Mahanahan's Child Clown Outlet. He appears twice in the episode Salame; first, in his own commercial, and later endorsing Mike Mahanahan's Child Clown Shoe Outlet. Steve loves his brother.

In the Season 1 finale, Missing, Steve picks up runaway Casey and also reveals to have Casey's pep pep in the back of his van. In the follow up during the Season 2 premiere, Vacation, the van explodes without warning.

Despite their apparent deaths, both Casey and Steve Mahanahan reappear in the series. Steve makes his return in Season 3 as revealed in footage at Tim & Eric Awesome Tour 2008. He shows a video on how to care for your child clowns.

He also appears in the Season Cinco episode Stuntmen, where he reveals he "Touched a clown" and is now "Going to jaaaaiiiil." His Father is revealed to be Donald Mahanahan (Will Ferrell) and his brother Mike Mahanahan was shot in the face with a shotgun.

Steve appears one final time on "AWESOME 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY VERSION, GREAT JOB?". Sometime after his arrest, his father attempts to break him out of jail. Donald fails and gets shot in the face (much like Mike). Regardless, Steve eventually gets out of prison and now runs an old cruise ship where customers can "do what they like" with the child clowns(no one's looking).
