"The Duke" is the second episode of Season 2 of the horror anthology series Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories, and the twelfth episode of the series overall. It originally aired on September 10th, 2017 along with the seasons first episode.
Synopsis[]
Maureen and Bryan, an unhappily married couple, decide to spend a night at one of the many local "scratch-off casinos." While Bryan is sitting alone at the food court, Maureen is approached by a dashing man known as "The Duke." Once Duke helps Maureen win a scratch-off with his lucky coin, the two celebrate by dancing in the VIP room. Seeing his wife with another man, Bryan angrily approaches The Duke. However, The Duke hypnotizes Bryan and convinces him that he is Bryan's father. Bryan and the Duke bond with each other of a common passion for scratch-offs, but after Bryan discovers old wedding photos of himself with Maureen, Bryan threatens to kick the Duke out of his house. The Duke asks for once more chance: if they can win the "father-son scratch of tournament," the Duke will remain as Bryan's father, and Bryan will never have to get a job. Bryan and The Duke win the tournament, and the show ends with Bryan opening his new gift from the Duke: a Playcenter 4.
